The Course

Lead as a Pivot Player includes the following six sessions:

Course Overview: AROSE Group Founder and CEO and the creator of Pivot Player™, Emily Frieze-Kemeny, orients you to the series.

Activate Your Pivot Power: You’ll learn about the brain science behind Lead as a Pivot Player™, why we tend to put on constricting Leadership Suits, and how we can move out of them by leading with a different type of power, Pivot Power. You will learn how expansive it is when you lead in community, with greater perspective and more options. As a Pivot Player, no matter the challenge, there’s always a way. 

The Four Leadership Suits: 

Move from Disrupter to Pivot Player

Move from Upholder to Pivot Player

Move from Executor to Pivot Player

Move from Presider to Pivot Player

In each of the four Leadership Suit sessions, you will learn about the strengths, what it may feel like to lead in that Suit, and the unintentional impact it can have on the team. You will also gain practical strategies to move from that constricting suit to Lead as a Pivot Player, which delivers greater performance without the overwhelm and isolation of traditional leadership roles.

Course Handouts: Each course has a corresponding handout that you can download to follow along, capture reflections and insights, and identify the actions you will take.

This course will equip you with the skills, support, and practice you need to Lead as a Pivot Player, so that you can experience uncertainty and challenges as opportunities to find that next move, The Pivot Play, which keeps you going and growing.
